Is QuickCode free to use?
Yes. Upload a CSV, configure labels, preview, and download a PDF — completely free with no credit card required.
How do I generate barcode labels from a CSV file?
Follow four steps: (1) Upload your CSV on the Upload page. (2) Map columns to barcode, SKU, name, and other fields. (3) Choose barcode type and a label template on Configure. (4) Preview and download your PDF on the Preview page.

What columns does my CSV need?
A barcode column is required. Optional columns include SKU, product name, quantity, and price. We auto-detect common header names like barcode, sku, product_name, and qty.
Is my product data stored on your servers?
No. Your CSV and label settings are kept in your browser session while you work. Barcode images and PDFs are generated locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a backend database.
Barcodes & templates
What barcode types are supported?
Code 128, UPC-A, EAN-13, and QR Code. Choose one type per batch on the Configure page. Code 128 works for alphanumeric SKUs; UPC-A and EAN-13 require numeric codes with correct length and check digits.
Why does my UPC-A barcode fail to render?
UPC-A must be exactly 12 digits with a valid check digit (last digit). If the check digit is wrong, the renderer will reject the code. Fix the barcode in your CSV or switch to Code 128 for internal SKUs.
Which label templates can I use?
Preset templates include Avery 5160 (US Letter, 30 labels), 2" × 1" (Letter, 10 labels), Avery 5163 (4" × 2" shipping), Avery 8126 (Letter, 14 labels), A4 2×7 (14 labels), and A4 3×8 (24 labels).
Can I use a custom label size?
Custom label sizes are coming soon. For now, pick the preset that best matches the label paper you purchased. If your sheet is Avery-compatible, matching the exact product number (e.g. 5160) gives the best print alignment.
Do you support thermal roll labels or 4×6 shipping labels?
Not yet. QuickCode focuses on sheet labels (US Letter and A4) for laser and inkjet printers. Thermal roll and 4×6 carrier shipping labels are on our roadmap as separate workflows.
Printing & PDF
How do I avoid misaligned prints?
In your printer dialog, set scale to 100% (Actual size) — do not use "Fit to page." Load the matching label paper, print a test sheet, and verify alignment before a large run.
Does the preview match the downloaded PDF?
Yes. Preview and PDF export use the same label layout and your uploaded product rows — one label per CSV row. What you see in preview is what is placed on the PDF grid.
Is there a watermark on exported PDFs?
No. Exported PDFs are watermark-free so you can use them for products, inventory, and retail labeling.
